Aspects that are essential to a compelling trailer need to be considered. Such as what particular events of the plot should be shown in the trailer. As the aim is intended to follow the typical and main conventions of a film that is of the same genre. However still needs to have its own unique way of sending a message across to the audience.
As our genre is going to be an action drama the actual trailer shouldn't give a great deal of the plot away. Instead should focus on shots that will allow the audience to take notice of the trailer. In this type of trailer there should be more shots that show action that may not directly relate to the plot but yet the audience are kept guessing with what is going on. This may create an enigma; so it is significant to not just focus on the plot in the trailer as it is different to the actual film.
Aim: After a clear, appealing and understandable plot is made, events need to be selected that are going to be well presented in the trailer.
